Candle Care

For a cleaner burn, a longer life, and a better glow.

✨ A Quick Note About Soy Wax

Our candles are made with high-quality soy wax, which burns cleaner, cooler, and longer than other waxes.
Because soy is a natural wax, it has a few quirks — and with the right care, your candle will burn beautifully from the first light to the last.

Your First Burn Matters Most

Let your candle burn long enough for the entire top layer to melt from edge to edge.
This usually takes 1–3 hours and prevents tunneling so your candle burns evenly.

Trim Your Wick Before Every Burn

Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting.
This helps control the flame, reduces soot, and prevents mushrooming.
Remove any wick trimmings from the wax pool before lighting.

Ideal Burn Times

Burn for no more than 3–4 hours at a time.

Let the candle cool and reset for at least 2 hours between burns.

Keep candles away from drafts (vents, AC, fans) to prevent uneven burning.

Extinguish With Care

Use a snuffer when possible for a clean, smoke-free extinguish.

A Quick Note About Soy Wax

Soy wax may naturally “frost” with a white, crystalline texture.
This is completely normal, doesn’t affect performance, and is a sign of natural wax.

Candle Safety Basics

Burn within sight — never leave a candle unattended.

Keep away from children, pets, and anything flammable.

Always place candles on heat-safe, level surfaces.

Never move a candle while the wax is hot.
